Ronald L. Dumay
Ron served as Vice-President of Planning and Development for Crown Center Redevelopment Corp, and Director of Corporate Real Estate for Hallmark Cards Inc. He directed acquisition, sales and leasing of corporate facilities for Hallmark Cards throughout the United States and Ireland.
At his tenure with Hallmark, Ron's development responsibilities included office buildings in Crown Center, a 300 acre industrial park in Liberty, the re-alignment of Grand Avenue through Crown Center and the Crown Pedestrian Walkway linking the Westin and Hyatt Regency hotels.
Property management responsibilities have included the entire Crown Center project. Ron was also responsible for the leasing of more than 1 million feet of office, retail and residential space, as well as the initial sales of the San Francisco Tower Condominium highrise.
Ron was instrumental in facilitating the Union Hill Redevelopment, Linwood Market Square, a new Grand Avenue Bridge over the K.C. Terminal Railway, the 22nd Street exit for Hospital Hill at Bruce Watkins Parkway, and a residential mixed-use development in Lawrence Kansas.
He has served on the executive committee of the Downtown Council and the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce-membership and light rail committees. He was president and board member of the Main Street Corridor Redevelopment Corp, and the board of the Kansas City chapter of the Urban Land Institute.
Ron also has served as president and board member of the Shepard Center and the boards of the Kaw Valley Habitat for Humanity, John Knox Village, Northeast Kansas Quarter Horse Association and Jackson County Sheltered Workshop.
